You may have been hearing about matcha tea and that it is the new “it” beverage. Matcha means “powdered tea”, so no more tea bags! It can boost your metabolism and halt the growth of cancer cells.

It contains 100% pure organic matcha green tea powder. No other ingredients. It is from Japan (mostly Aichi, Kagoshima).

When I opened it, I could smell the green immediately. It was so refreshing and I had to sniff it again. The powder is very fine and is easily stirred into hot water. You only need a teaspoon of the powder, so this container will last a very long time. I did not have a bamboo whisk, so I mixed it with a spoon. It didn’t take long before I had a delicious cup of warm green tea.

I am not a big tea drinker, but this contains caffeine, so it is a great replacement for soda in the afternoon! It is also really tasty.

I added more water to it as instructed on the container. You could drink it as a shot as well and get all the benefits from the matcha green tea.

You can order and get recipes from Midori Spring’s website. I’ll continue drinking this tea. I love all the health benefits it offers and I love the taste!

I have always loved Matcha Tea. I have never heard of the brand before but definitely will check it out. I never really thought about drinking it in a shot form.

I have tried matcha tea on several occasions now. So has my whole family. We just can’t get past the taste of it. We have even mixed it in some foods. I know how good it is for us, but we just can’t get past the taste. I’m glad you like it though!!

    1. You could always take it like a shot! Have you tried making smoothies with it?
